Pilots and pilots - two of a kind
Besides the 7 brotherhoods established by the GMPA and therefore members of the FCP, there are two more pilot organisations along the coast.
The Society of Docking Masters Bremerhaven for Bremerhaven port and the Hamburg Habour Pilots' Association for the port of Hamburg, both established by city regulations.
The two habor pilot organisations are not members of the FCP. Because of similar interrests there is a close operational interaction between the FCP and the habor pilot organisations.
