Fleet and pilot stations

The boat fleet ranges from relatively small boats which are operated by one person to large SWATH-Station vessels with a crew of 25.
The swimming equipment has only one purpose: transporting pilots to and from stations and ships.
Over 90% of the pilot boardings and disembarkations are done by boats, the rest is done by helicopter.

One consequence of the Germen unification is that the pilotage facility service was transferred directly to a private company.
Neither the FCP nor the PFS are involved in this organisation.
